What is the best upgrade option for this build below?  Goal is to continue doing the same as it was intended for. 

Built this in 2015 Used for editing 1080P video/audio, podcasting, streaming with WireCast/Vmix, content creation via Adobe Products.

Asus Z97-WS

CPU: 4790K

Ram Corsair Vengence Pro 32GB

GPU: ASUS  GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5

Disk Drives: Samsung 840 EVO x 2 

PSU: Seasonic 750W 80plus Gold

I would recommend a better cpu instead, as most of if not all of those things are using the cpu, not gpu. So something like r7 2700/ i7 8700 would make quite a big difference.

This is the debate do you go new Motherboard with r7 or i8700 and keep the GPU or do you upgrade the GPU

Well if the computer keeps doing it tasks fine then you dont have to do anything, just keep using it. Many people still use i7 3770k and older cpus, and they work just fine for their use cases, so no need to spend money. 

But if your current pc feels slow while rendering for example then upgrade the cpu.
