So , lately , I have been on a mission to build the cheapest used pc possible , that can game . Keep in mind , that I live in greece , and prices are all over the place , but will get them to a logical place. So first I saw a GigaByte GA-H55M-UD2H for 60€ , and with a little bit of haggling I think I can get about 40€ . Then I thought to combine it with an https://www.ebay.com/itm/CPU-Intel-Xeon-X3430-2-80-GHz-Turbo-Quad-Core-Processor-45-nm-LGA-1156/273550362111?epid=80312199&hash=item3fb0df45ff:g:XIEAAOSwySZb5HOW&thm=3000 . If I get some ram , and a cheap graphics card (which one do you think for under 50$) will I have a light gaming machine for games like csgo? I already have a psu , a case and a ssd. Thanks to anyone who helps!

For graphics card, try to get a 750 ti, or a 1050 if you could (I know that would be a stretch but still). I think there's a chance of either of those fitting in your budget.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Spend a little more for an X3450 or X3470. Hyperthreading is a must-have. For under $50 US, you're not going to find too much. Maybe something like a GTX 660 Ti or an RX 460?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

This probably won't be enough for CS:GO. Raise your GPU budget just a little and then haggle. Try trading in old stuff, or get a cheap used PC (like an optiplex) from a work surplus/craigslist and opt for a 1050/1060. You can even sell it's old PSU and hard drive!

Those are getting quite rare, the only thing you can get from today under $50 is 710 or lower.

We must be looking in different places. 660 Tis regularly sell for around $50 on eBay, but again, US vs Greece. Who knows?

as for a gpu, if you have a decent psu, look into the more obscure cards from fermi and kepler, theyre usually not looked into for any reason so theyre very cheap

GTX 465, the OEM GTX 555, theyre not the most powerful cards but theyre plenty for esports stuff and games like csgo in 1080p.

I have a VS450 white

Definitely spend the extra $5 for at least a X3440, the hyperthreading will make a massive difference. The cpu will be plenty for CS:GO, worked great on my Q6600 and Phenom II machines last time I tried it on them. I played it for years with a HD5870 on high settings lmao. TechYesCity seems to use Aliexpress pretty heavily, it'll take a while to get to you but he has good luck ordering from Australia.

Although I'd try to leverage the cheaper hardware with something like a GTX 970 which can sometimes be found for $100. AMD might also be an option, GCN1 cards still do really well in modern games but I found them to have driver issues personally, in certain games at least with the "newer" GCN1 cards like the R9 280(non-X). Don't compromise for less than 2gb of vram though, there's plenty of good used cards out there.
