Graphics card for birthday present,

I plan to get a gpu for a friend's birthday, my budget is usd$ 490.00. He wants to play at 1440p and he's got a LG 27 Inch 1440p 100hrz monitor, I was thinking of getting him either a RTX 2060 6gb or a RTX 2070 8gb, these are the few models available to me in short notice since his birthday is this Saturday.

At 499.99 you can get an EVGA 2070. That'll give your friend a good handful of warranty and some super awesome customer support

Wouldn’t get any of those myself but like mentioned, if you can get the evga variant for that price, that’s what I’d want. 2070 that is.

Can't get it in time the shop I'm buying from only has the listed, well we grew up together and he kept me safe from jocks and dick heads lol

the 2060 is cheaper and i would recommend it for it's price, but as others say, get the 2070 for its performance.
