Dual Monitors

Hi all, I have a 27" 1080 monitor 144Hz and was looking at getting a 2k or 4k monitor 27" also.

 

My question is can I run both monitors at the same time on the differing resolutions?

 

And if I get a monitor with a lower Hz will they both run at the lower Hz of the two?

You can run them with differing resolutions and refresh rates with no problem.

 

If you are gaming thought you would want to make sure that you use one or the other as your experience would not be a good one.

I only plan to game on the one monitor and have the other for discord, chrome ect would that be ok?

Jep that works fine. I hava a 1080p@60Hz and a 1440p@144Hz which never gave me any problems.
