1080p60 means nothing if your preset isnt low enough...

as far as CPU encoding what you want is to hit the medium preset on 1080p60 or 720p60 (or "slower") which will require a 8700K or Ryzen 7 2700X (at current generation, when Ryzen 3 comes out we will obvously have to see how it performs) BUT... right now X.264 (CPU encoding) is a better wuality at 720p60 and 1080p60 compared to NVENC... but at the same time NVENC is much less stress on the CPU.... so the choice is yours...

10XX series GPU's from invidia all have the same NVENC on board encoder.... so i would suggest a 1060 if you want to stream with NVENC (the quality wont be as good as 1080p60 on Medium preset)

i did say minimum so i ment older hardware if possible. sorry i dont know the specs of the stream, i just want a good enough experience at most peoples minimum requirments .

the 1050 idea is a good one i could use nvec with a worse cpu and newer but cheap gpu. I am a student so money is always a premium cheaper is better but yeah thanks so far.

also the main rig i have that the dedicated would be taking the stream from is ryzen 3 1200 and rx 480  if that make any difference
