Fans don't work on some boots?

so I'm having a new issue with my GPU fans.

 

i've noticed several times during last week (nothing like that before) that my GPU fans are not working at all after some boots. Changing fan curve/setting fan speed manually/turning 0 db mode on and off doesn't help – it just raises the temperatures and does not turn the fans on. Reboot fixes the problem immediately.

 

Can't figure out what's the issue here.

 

I'm using GPU Tweak II for the fan curve. GPU is Strix 1080 Ti OC with a slight and sable overlock.
