Hi fellow people, I am not sure whether that’s the right section to post this or nah, but I need some serious help.

 

I have just upgraded my motherbord, processor and RAM.

Mouse and keyboard don’t respond in windows (USB equipment), however, they work during the machine’s start up. Like in dos, when it’s booting. I can move my mouse and use the keyboard in BIOS menu and so on. When windows starts, they still glow (my mouse and keyboard) but still no response from both of them.

 

What could that be? How can I fix that?

EDIT: I tried to avoid USB 3.0 ports but no luck whether it’s 2.0 or nah.

What Processor?

What Motherboard?
What RAM?

 

What Keyboard?

What Mouse?

 

Which version of Windows?

Was this a fresh install of Windows with the new hardware?

No. installed the new hardware over the previously set windows. I tried installing a fresh copy but my mouse and keyboard won’t help me get it done.

Your issue are drivers. Win7 isn't supported on your new hardware. Which means you would have needed new USB3 drivers first. For reinstall its same thing. You could inject drivers to installer, or just use PS/2 connector. Or you can install Win10 and be all good.
