RTX 2080 ti Gaming X Trio power balancing

Hi, after reading many reviews I can't decide between these 3 models of 2080 ti: Aorus Xtreme, Gaming X Trio and Zotac AMP Extreme.

The MSI is the cheapest, but I read they don't have power balancing circuit while every other 2080 ti has. Some people say it can be a problem, some other say it' not. What do you think about this thing of power balancing? Can it really be a problem?

And what about Zotac AMP Extreme? I can't find many reviews on the internet about this card.

The top 3 2080 ti vrms are asus strix, evga ftw3 and the msi trio, in no particular order.

You cannot go wrong with Gigabyte's Aorus Xtreme or Asus' ROG Strix.

I read that the Aorus extreme runs quite hot, is it true?

About the strix, I don't event count it as an option because in my country (Italy) it costs way too much, about 300 euros more than the main/Aorus...

Quite hot, I don't think so. It does run a bit hotter than the others but it also has one of the highest factory overclocks, I've heard something about them binning the 2080/2080 Ti chips (haven't confirmed that though), and they look freaking gorgeous.

Ok thank you very much for the reply, I think I'll go with the Aorus extreme :)

I was looking at the 2080 myself, it's an awesome card. Just make sure to get the extreme for dat optimal RGB backplate and higher stock OC. I'm gonna try and snag a Radeon VII tho cause I'm hopefully moving to 4K gaming and the memory bandwidth will be dank, that and I like AMD's stuff.

Yeah I think I'm going to stick to Nvidia for a while, I just bought a g sync monitor and I don't think it's even G Sync compatible.

Anyway I'm pretty curious about AMD Navi...

I'm not sure about any overheating issues, but I'm certain that it's a great piece of tech. It's my second time hearing that hardware costs in Italy are way too high than other markets. Is there any particular reason for this?

I think our vat is higher than other countries in Europe, but I'm not totally sure. That's why I'm buying the Aorus from German Amazon Shah :)
