It really doesnt matter a whole lot.

Just get 3000 or 3200mhz memmory.

In short, up to 2933mhz is officialy supported while anything above is "overclocked". Any kit that says 3000mhz reaches that frequency using XMP/DOCP which autooverclocks memmory to said speed.

In other words, you git to BIOS and click apply XMP and done. In other words, it really doesnt matter if you follow what i said first in this post.

Also wrong subforum btw

The "Unlocked: Yes" under the AMD specification indicates that it has an unlocked multiplier, meaning it is overclockable. This has nothing to do with memory, but with CPU frequency.

The 2933 MHz is the maximum officially supported JEDEC standard value. Anything beyond that is considered as overclocking.

Also, you reposted in the wrong neighborhood sub forum.

thank god i was hoping that was the case because i would like to run 3200mhz of ram

I just had a quick look at your history. Get some a good mobo like PRO4 series from ASrock as minimum or MSI Tomahawk and above. (Im talking B450 here, not B350)

Also quote people or we will never know you responded.
