Sorry for the crosspost but didnt get much help in the motherboard section

So i recently moved across the state to attend university. Had my computer packed up for about 3 weeks while everything settled in and decided to gift myself a new case to celebrate getting into this school. I ordered the case, and tore down my build. Case arrived, put everything together minus the water loop, cable managed, etc. Figure let me start it real quick without the cooler installed to make sure it all works, and good thing i did because nothing happened.

No fan spin, no lights, nothing. I do have the motherboard power LED lit up. I jumped the power supply and the case lit up. Eve tried a different supply and got the same results. Today i tried a new CMOS battery, nothing. All i can get the system to do is flash the bios flashback button if i press it. I also have tried breadboxing the system and manually bridging the power pins which ive confirmed multiple times between the board and manual that im doing the correct ones.I just want to know if theres anything else i can try before i start purchasing motherboards or CPUs, which with the cost of ddr4 im not going to be buying anything new gen so it feels like an extra waste.
Specs are sabertooth Z77 motherboard with a 3770k, 600w evga powersupply and a 1070.

Have tripple checked i have 24 and 8pin power, reseated CPU, breadboxed and jumped power pins, and tried another power supply.

Use cooling, without cooling your computer would get hot extremely fast and probably shut down. Also try putting the CPU back in and check the socket for any broken pins.

i dont think you understtod it. The board does nothing, so theres nothing to cool. and i dont see how it could have broke pins from just being transported

but the question is what is dead and why did it die. Im an auto mechanic so im not partial to just throwing money at something and hoping it ggets fixed

to many variables to list, Id suggest plugging in the cpu fan and seeing if it posts might not want to with cooling unplugged

im talking the actual cpu fan connector located near the CPU socket you said you replaced the battery = your bios settings are all reset

also since you pressed the bios flashback button and said it worked tells me the motherboard isn't dead but might be on a version where your cpu is no longer supported

ive been wanting to do a flashback, just dont have a usb or computer handy

id say flash the latest bios and pray it works really your only option now

went out and bought a usb drive and adapter to hook onto my tablet. it does not appear the board wants to flashback. Reformated to fat32 and renamed bios to z77st.cap (and yes i made sure its not .cap.cap) but it just flashes the button for a sec then holds steady. But the usb drive isnt being read
