Hey, I have a question about whether to sell my card and how much I should (NOT SELLING ON HERE OR ANYTHING) but how much would I expect to sell it for? So would a 780Lightning be better than two 770's?

PLEASE take into consideration that I would have to find a seller and it would be more inconvenient to get the 780.

I'm comparing http://www.microcenter.com/product/415537/02G-P4-2774-KR_NVIDIA_GeForce_GTX_770_Superclocked_w-ACX_Cooler_2048MB_GDDR5_PCIe_30_x16_Video_Card?ob=1 <---this in dual sli.

And the 780 lightning

770 would be better but i think the 780 will be the better choice. 2gb vram in sli isnt going to hold its own with games  for much longer. you really will need more vram so 780 will be better. also it can handle higher resolutions. if you can 780ti would be amazing.

770 Sli will yield better performance at 1080p. At 1440p, you need 3GB Vram.

have the 770 4gb and a 1440p monitor. in bf4 it uses from (ultra preset) 2.3 to (everything maxed) 3.8 gb

Like the others said, for SLI you're gonna want to the 4gb version of the 770. As far as choosing between the 770's and the 780, how many monitors, what resolution ?

to put it to scale a litlle bit, two 760 is about the same performance as a single 780 ti, so two 770 will be just a very small bit better than a 780 ;)

If you already own a 2gb 770 I would not invest in another one for SLI. I would just keep the one 770 untill maxwell comes out. Doesnt make sense to upgrade from a 700 series card to another 700 series card. Your graphics card purchases should last you more than 1 generation.

I think there was some confusion in the beginning about what card he already had.

Well, in the statement you said two 760's are on par with one 780ti and two 770's are a bit better than one 780.

Sorry i reread it and tried to fix my statement but my current connection is soo slow i couldnt get it to post. But regardless, whats done is done. You already bought the 2gb 770. Adding another one would just be throwing good money after bad since you be pretty vram capped. Just enjoy the 770 and wait for maxwell.

How can two 760's be better than 2 770's?

sarcasm, it'll really boost performance!

the last sentence was just for fun :) two 770 will of course be alot better than two 760's, 780 and 780ti
