Bluestacks 4 Slow down your PC?

Hello. does using/installed Bluestacks 4 to play Android games such Ragnarok Mobile: Eternal Love + 2 Multi Instance(clone) so Total of 3 Clients can cause slow down your computer? or its just a rumor?

 

My Specs are:

cpu: i5 8400

ram: corsair vengeance lpx 2x8 ddr4 2666mhz

mobo: gigabyte b360m-d3h

gpu: gigabyte gtx 970 g1

ssd: 60gb kingmax (OS)

hdd:1tb seagate sshd (games)

bluestacks is quite demanding. it's like rendering a video. your pc is bound to slow down.

so what should i do? i need to avoid it and never used a emulator on pc? or better to uninstall it and never used again?

It can slow it down but, that's emulation in general but, it will only slow down while you are playing the game so, once you quit from Bluestacks everything will be back to normal.

 

Give it a shot and see for yourself how your CPU holds up.

Yeah, it's just emulation. Same as if you were using a phone to play those games.

"Safe" is such odd word to use there. Software can't hurt your hardware. PC will become sluggish if its resources are maxed out, which is normal operation and reseted once you restart

the slow down will only happen when bluestacks is open. Once bluestacks is closed, everything will return to normal. no long term impact by slowing down your computer for a couple of hours a day.
