Does it support NVME ssd?

I Have a Asus G20 AJ , and it has a H97-I (at base it is just a H97 but modified to work with this pc ) and I was wondering if there are any SSD compability problems with this and if it supports any other type of ssd than the SATA one , and what are some good SSDs to buy? I have a max budget of 100$ . I am not really that big of a tech savvy .

The motherboard does not have an M.2 slot or a free PCIe slot. This means that no, there is no way to attach an NVMe drive.

Do you see anywhere a M.2 connector? I'd say stick to SATA SSDs..

Looks like the system has no real expansion capacity.  No M.2. slot or way to fit an NVMe drive in there.  The chipset doesn't have any available pci-express lanes.

 

CPU has 16 PCI-E lanes, taken up exclusively by the GPU

H97 chipset provides 8 lanes, but they are taken up by LAN chip, etc.  Nothing available.

 

No available M.2., no available PCI-E physical slot, no available PCI-E lanes all equal no chance for an M.2 format SSD nor an NVMe drive.  The system's specifications further nail this home...only 2.5 and 3.5 drives supported, SATA III.
