With the AOC AG241QX "Gsync compatible" is their any reason to buy the full gsync AOC AG241QG?

pretty much what the title says i feel like i need a new monitor to go with my rtx 2060 and dont have the money to go full ips so should i get AG241QX and save a few pounds (live in the uk btw) or will i get more benefit from the AG241QG?? thanks for any help

Do you sit so close to a monitor that 1440p and 1080p look different on a 24" screen?

 

These two share panels so there's no reason to get the Gsync variant.

Yes yes Jurrunio is correct especially now that latest drivers have freesync or whatever they wanna call it.  No need for g-sync unless your gaming at 144hz and it keeps dipping below 144fps like 120fps or lower, that is where g-sync kicks in but if you have a powerful enough video card that 144hz will not really dip much and if it does nVidia version of this adaptive or free or whatever sync you wanna call it will kick in.

There is absolutely no reason to get the AOC. I purchased it and had to return it, biggest POS monitor I've ever owned, the worst amount of anti glare so you can barely read text.
