Will this monitor work with G-sync compatibility.

https://www.ple.com.au/Products/631021/AOC-G2778VQ-27-Full-HD-FreeSync-75Hz-1ms-Gaming-Monitor I am looking to buy this monitor to go with my gtx 1070 for G-sync compatibility but am not sure if it will work as it says it only has display port 1.2 but remember reading somewhere that you need display port 1.2a for it to work.
