Posted January 18, 2019 Sorry if this topic is badly written as this is my first time doing something like this. I am in a desperate need of help in order to select a laptop for my day to day work. So let me tell you what I want from my future laptop. I am going to learn the basics of Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) when I am free at college. So I want a laptop which is light (as I will be carrying it everyday to college), can run unreal engine (It doesn't need to like be very strong I just need to learn the basics as I will do the heavy lifting on my desktop.) Can run CS:GO at more than 70 fps. Has a great battery life(I don't want to carry a brick to my college). The problem is I cannot buy the latest laptops because my country cannot provide it this quick. I live in India so you can check what laptops are available at www.amazon.in 1$ = 71.24 Rupees. (Indian currency) So my budget is around 1350$ which is 96,174 Indian Rupees. I think Microsoft Surface Pro (2017 version as the surface pro 6 is not available here they are being imported) is the best option for me right now as the battery is amazing (but I'm a bit scared about it not being able to run unreal engine 4) but it costs around 1200$ in stores here which is a lot for such config. If you guys know a laptop which is better for me please do tell me. In summary what I need for my laptop is as follows :- 1.) Should be a Windows 10 laptop. 2.) Can run Unreal Engine 4 3.) Lightweight 4.) Able to run Counter Strike Global Offensive at more than 70 fps 5.) Has more than 5 hours of battery life when not gaming. 6.) Should be around 1350$
