Speeding up Windows 10 boot time (ASUS Bios)

I have Samsung 970 Pro, Windows 10, Asus Rampage Vi Extreme

Curious if I can boost my boot time. Asus motherboard goes through its checks as it boots (This takes the longest amount of time). I have 1 sec selected for the ASUS logo to show. UEfi selected over Legacy

My boot time after the logo and system check is 8 seconds, it's the system checks that seem to slow me down and can be 24 seconds before I see the windows loading icon

The ASUS X470 Prime didn't have that problem, but the Crosshair VII does.  It takes forever to POST and nobody has found any significant way to speed it up.  So I imagine you're probably in the same boat if the delay is the board trying to POST.

I purchased shortly after launch and at that time, no reviews that I saw or read mentioned this issue. I have read where others are having the same issue over the past year with nothing really solved. I thought I would reach out here and see if maybe I overlooked something. Thanks for chiming in nick name.

No, problem.  I think it's really just a function of higher-end boards so I don't think there is really an "issue" to be solved other than manufacturers finding a way to speed up the process.

The Prime Pro was fucking quick to POST -- the Crosshair VII is slower than my old laptop.
