Hello Folks.

I'm looking for a camera.

Budget is 150 chf (~166 usd) maybe a little more if needed.

The camera will be used for taking pictures on my vacation.

Nothing special.

Thanks. :)

My wife uses a Canon ixus.

Very good point and click. She has had 3 now and they were all great.

Not quite my Canon 700D but still good.

How do you like the 700D? I am looking in to a dslr my self.

Love it's simplicity with the flip out touch screen. The kit lens is very good for a kit lens.

I picked it over the Nikon 5200 that I had my heart set on because it felt more comfortable in my hand.

The only gripe I have with it is it's performance in low light could be better.

If you get one make sure you get the 50mm prime 1.8. It is amazing.

Nothing to see here - move along.

50mm prime lens was by far the best purchase I've made for my camera (600D), such an awesome and cheap lens.  :)

The Plastic Fantastic.

I actually hatted it when I first got it and almost returned it.

So happy I kept it.  It takes a bit of learning but worth it.

I totally agree. I love it to bits though, makes you think a lot more about the shot you're taking. I like that you have to physically move around to get the desired shot. But the quality compared to the kit lenses is amazing. Such crisp. Much clear. Many pixels. Wow.
