DNS server not responding

Hi

 

So I’m having issues getting rid of a DNS block that my supervisor put up. It blocks my internet after 10pm which is kind of ridiculous and I’ve asked him to remove it but without success. 

 

I’m connected to the wifi but I don’t have internet connection (it has the yellow sign with the exclamation point).  First time trouble shooting the issue came back with “DNS server not responding”, after 20mins I did it again but now there was no identifiable problem. 

 

Anyone that can help? Thanks in advance!

Do you have access to alter DNS config? Set it to 8.8.8.8 if so and see if that works. If that doesn't work it's not DNS and there's probably nothing you can do.

How would I go about doing that? Here’s some extra info that might help: if I pull up a livestream before 10pm it can run for about an hour or so after 10pm even though I can’t load new websites.
