RAM compatibility check

OK so i was looking at this i5 7400 CPU. it seems pretty good for value and am considering buying it. But one problem for me is that RAM prices are off the f&*(in nut. However DDR3 is cheap as chips so. Because this chip APPARENTLY supports DDR3L ( low voltage ) RAM rated at 1333/1600Mhz, i am considering just buying some of that RAM for a couple of months and just use that until DDR4 prices drop.

 

And i think i have found a motherboard that supports DDR3 RAM 

 

This sheet says that the chip supports the for-mentioned RAM type here.

But here is the problem. every time i type up DDR3L is comes up with laptop SO-DIMM RAM. That's all i can find. But i have a proposal/solution. Can i just buy some of that so-dimm RAM at the rated speed ( link below to the kit i intend to buy ) and just buy a so-dimm to PC RAM adapter and use that instead for the time being? Will there be any complications??? LET ME KNOW ASAP PLZZZ thanks for help!!!

DDR3 works too. I tried with my i7-6700 on H170

DDR3L for laptop only, it just indicates that the cpu support sodimm.

if the motherboard provide sodimm slot it will work with it.

I figured that it wood work. And i know that that is laptop RAM. However it is literally ALL that comes for the DDR3L option instead of DDR4 for PC's. SO your saying it will work if i can get an adapter for my PC?
