Difficulty with Monitor (Need Help)

Hello Everyone, recently I've been having an issue with my Viewsonic XG2703 - GS monitor. Every 3 days or so I'll be playing a game, mostly Arma 3 and the monitor will black out and the signal for the game will be sent to my second monitor (not sure of name, Phillips 60hz, 1080p, hdmi). Now in order for me to fix this issue i need to unplug and replug the power cable then it works again, it can get really annoying. I use display port with this monitor, i have tried changing cables, different gpu ports, adjusting power settings. The weird thing is that it doesn't do it on my second monitor but if i plug it into another computer it starts to work again fine without an unplug. I dont see how it could be the gpu because it carrys on fine on the other monitor with no artefacting, no funny noises etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

CPU: i7 7700k (no overclock yet)

GPU: GTX 1080 Strix ROG

Psu: Be quiet 600w

Ram: 16gb G skill trident z

Motherboard: Z270F Strix ROG

I have also tried updating drivers which didn't work.
