Hi im new to the forum and i frankly dont know much about hardware and stuff

So i decided to necessarily change my hardware to being able to play max settings for games nowadays

here's my spec :

Chassis: Haf 920

CPU: Intel Core i5 - 2500k

Motherboard: Asus P8P67 Pro Rev 3.1

RAM: 2x DDR 3 8192 MB (i forgot the brand, its a decent 1, probably corsair, bought it like 2 years back)

HDD: WD 500GB, ATA/ATAPI-8 - SATA II, support UDMA 7 (sadly i also forget the type precisely, also bought it 2 years back)

GPU: Nvidia GTX 560 Ti

Im on a budget but i dont like wasting time for the things i dont necessarily use (like a Super Pc or something)

Please help :--)

Assuming your monitor is 1080p, grab a HD 7850 or HD 7870 and you'll be golden.
and maybe a little more ram

And can u name a decent brand for the GPU? i always buy either asus/gigabyte but i know some of the brand nowadays is equally good to them.
EVGA/MSI/ASUS for NVIDIA cards or Sapphire/MSI/ASUS for AMD cards.

The best bet for an upgrade is a new GPU, Just like what has been said here. You have a decent CPU and Ram for gaming. Change out that GTX 560 and you will have a great gaming experience. Does not look like you have an SSD in there. That would be a good upgrade after changing your GPU.

Asus Maximus VI Hero , i5 4670k , 8gb Corsair vengeance ddr3, Asus HD 7970 matrix platinum, Corsair AX860, Ocz agility 3 120gb ssd, 1tb wd green hdd, custom water loop. All in an Antec p280

The soun you hear are the fans speeding up to be able to remove the heat, maybe its also a bit dirty. Check you gpu and cpu cooler to be sure.
