GPU for 4k Hevc playback

Looking for the cheapest GPU I can get for 4k HEVC playback. I am looking into the RX 550 at the moment as it needs to be low power for a HTPC I have. Any advice would be amazing. Thank you.

Rx 550 or gt 1030 essentially.

 

Or you can just use an Apu or iGPU

Already have a G3258 which I don't want to change. It'll just be cheaper for me to change out my aging gt620

If you havent built the system. An r3 2200G will doe the trick

Do note that GT 1030 does not have NVENC chip. It will direct play your HEVC content at 4k 60Hz no problem, but you wont be able transcode to any other format on the fly using hardware acceleration.
