Network Parental Control

Good day to all!
  I want to build an internet connected computer network that is safe and child friendly environment

What should I do so that my clients can browse safely or filter for their browsing? I'd tried a lot 

of dns filtering, but still don't work.

A lot of routers have built in parental stuff. Dns filtering really should work, blocking access to a list of sites and severs you dont want the client to access maybe you didn't correctly set it up.

Do you have any suggestions for web filtering dns. so that I can tried it up?

Open DNS has some filtering you can use to filter out adult sites, Gambling sites, etc. Be keep in mind that while most stuff will be blocked, you cant block it all.

How locked down do you want it to be? 

You could always just block all sites and then white-list others, there is no way to completely stop this

Just want it to filter most porn sites if possible

You could always get a filter where it looks for select words and blocks them if they are they, that's what my parents did to me, another issue is google images, maybe you can make a policy where they can't take strict modem off
