Okay I’m getting a new gaming pc and I’m planning on getting a RTX 2080 MSI X trio. If I were to get 2 and run them in SLI what would my frames look like 1080p ultra settings in Fortnite, Bo4 and PUBG. (I shouldn’t have any bottlenecking because I’m running a i7 9700k)

You won't see double the framerates, and with a 2080 you won't get much better than that currently, but feel free to buy the 2nd one and mail it to me please :)

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

I wouldn't recommend getting two, as the extra temperature, cooling, power and cost does not justify the moderate framerate increase. Besides you'll get issues with scaling etc. among other issues. If anything get a RTX 2080TI coz it'll be cheaper than two RTX 2080's and the performance will be only a tad worse in most situations than the 2 in SLI.

with a 2080 your frames should already be in the 200 range with one

you dont need 2 2080 in nvlink for anything

if you really want to upgrade your gpu sell your current one and get a 2080ti

Your playing in 1080p you should upgrade your monitor

i would recommend getting a 1440p 144hz monitor or a 4k one

Doubt you could get a cpu strong enough for sli on bo4. Pubg will require some profile work to maximize usage on a second card, or else it will be around 10-25% use on it.

Over 200 frames on b04 at 1080p with a 1080ti. Pubg I think was 150 or so, map dependent.

Doubt that 9700 will even handle a single card at 1080p on bo4. 8700k already sits a high 90%. Wouldn't handle two cards.

It would go through the roof

Honestly unless you have a 240hz monitor i'd go with a single 2080 maximum and if you don't even have 144/120hz i'd just stick with a rx 580 tops

Damn....
