Bubble wrap inside computer

Is it safe to use bubble wrap inside a computer for shipping, I've seen other post that said just remove the cooler/GPU and have the person receiving the computer reinstall them. Considering it took 3 hours on the phone with them just for them to test each stick of RAM in their dying computer (which I'm certain they reinstalled wrong cause I could hear the beep codes) having them reinstall those parts is out of the question.  Thanks in advance for your time.

I think its useless, bubble wrap is good if you wrap it, hence the naming.

if packing the card separately is out of the question, you can place a styrofoam to support it from wobbling.

The most important part to bubble wrap is the HDD if any, i think its a must, you don't want the head to touch the platter and scratch it.

I suggest taking the GPU out of the slot. If that isn't possible just get the pink anti static bubble wrap

Just keeping this here as a Yes it's safe to use bubble wrap, but you'll need a huge amount of it.

 

It would probably be just as safe to use newspaper ... take newspaper sheets and make paper balls out of sheets , mess them up in your hands , then shove them inside

 

Also could fill some space with some tinier cardboard boxes inside to fill the empty space..

Once it arrives they can simply open the panel and remove all the paper inside.

Personally I like the best the paper Digikey uses to fill the boxes, it can use a lot of volume if you mess it up in balls... it looks like this if you don't know
