4.4GHz target, 4.2GHz Min, 4.4GHz Max, 1.2 volts

yes

Why use turboboost? Why not just raise the core clock?

ill try.

Btw, turbo boost makes it so it'll raise the cpu speed only if and when you need it.

Try reseting everything by entering BIOS, clicking on exit and then "load optimized defaults".  Then exit, save and reset.

Then copy the settings in the pics attached.

-Change AI Overclock tuner to XMP from auto

-Change 1-core ratio limit to 44 from auto

-Scroll down and change CPU core voltage to "adaptive mode"

-Leave everything else alone.

-Top right corner, exit, save and reset.

-If you back into BIOS on the top in yellow you should see turbo clock and it should read 4400Mhz

If it boots run prime95 to see if its stable.  If not, try 43 or 42.

Hey 11dfwc1: This may also help :

Download and extract BIOS CAP files from the
official ASUS website at. http://www.asus.com

Save it into a USB Flash drive . Newest Date you can find.

m0p3TzocLelvBoSqth6-g4Q.jpg

Plug the USB storage device to the

Black-colored USB2.0 port, then go

to BIOS - ASUS EZ Flash 2 RUN IT .

Pls Note: The system will turn of completely

It will seem that you just destroyed the PC when you pressed Enter to execute, the

Flash everything is ok ,this will re-boot in a second or 2 .

This is normal ,you will be prompt to press F1/F7 to

enter BIOS.

Now go in set you Over Clock Revisions .

asus-p8z68-v-pro-bios-20.jpg

Now Save this to a Profile (I save mine to profile 1 as O.C.)

Now Save & Restart . You should now be able to see these Over Clocks Revisions

in CPU-Z or any other program you use .

This method works for me ,It may work for you ...

If it doesn't i Suggest reading an Over Clocking Guide ,this will help you gain you're target &

Teach you the finer points of Over Clocking & also the simple points .

Hope this helps ,as it once did for me / had the same issue as you with my ASUS Mother Board ... :) :) :)

PLS get back to us on how you are doing & Good Luck Reaching You're Goal Target ...

i was able to get 4.3 going to push for more soon. Really happy to finally have  the OC done after 2 weeks of fumbling around.

Glad it worked!
