Differences between M.2 drives

How much real world difference would you see in a Samsung 970 Evo over and intel 660p? There is about $120 difference (in canada) between these two at 1 tb, is the samsung worth $120 more?

What are you using it for? For games and as a boot drive, almost no differnce.

Ya simply a boot drive and games and basic stuff. I have no problem spending $$$ when it matters but it also makes no sense to throw money down the drain on something like a ssd if it wont matter.

For that use I don't see a reason to spend the extra. The endurance of the qlc won't matter, You probably won't fill the slc write cache, and load times will be pretty close, probably within a second.
