RAM sticks acting very weird.

alamjs

Hey guys, so I built a new PC yesterday and got everything working, installed windows, drivers etc and everything seemed to be working perfectly until this morning when I tried to turn my PC on. When I turned it on only 4 out of my 8 RAM sticks lit up and the CPU LED on the mobo went Red. Then I removed 2 RAM sticks from the correct slots as per the mobo manual and the PC booted with all the 6 RAM sticks working perfectly. Then I reinstalled the remaining 2 sticks, then I had the same problem. I'm not sure what to do now since the PC was working fine yesterday with all the RAM slots filled in.

My mobo uses a Quad-channel memory configuration if that would help in anyway.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
