I just realized that if the AMD rumors are true with both gpu and cpu, the usual $1000 ryzen 2600 builds will become a budget builder's dream.

Ryzen 3 R3 6 core 12 threads - under $150 - (+reference AMD cooler)

Budget B class motherboard - under $80 -100

Non - RGB 3000 mhrtz cl16 16gb ram - $60(the cheapest in my area)

AMD Navi 3070 8gb RX Vega56 performance - $200

SSD +  HDD - $45 - 60

RGB  fans - $30 - 50 - (coolermaster)

PSU + Case - $100 - (coolermaster) Q300L/ MWE Gold

Total - $700 - 800

Compared to my own R5 2600 system even if I strip down to bare essentials it'll still cost me around $1200, I pray the rumoured prices are real.

Now I see why my uncle seem so excited to see AMD's reveal.

Now I'm excited too, AMD please make our dreams come true and don't be a fuck up.

LOL,

One can only fantasize so much until reality hits hard. Doubtful that the graphics performance jump speculated is realistic, but current CPU projections seem accurate.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?
