My monitor is 144hz but it says it’s 60hz?

HDMI cables doesnt always support 144hz 1080p...ideally you need a display port cable for that.

HDMI 1.4 and newer technicaly support it...but it depends on the cable and the HDMI in and out on your graphics card and monitor...in short...just get a display port cable.

yes, this.  I was wrong about Display Port, the monitor doesn't have one.  Kinda shocking but yeah.

Yeah, it's a standard but a lot of regular DVI plugs are missing pins that dual link have. Just buy a dual link cable.
