New controller

I had 2 controllers, 1 regular xbox one and a third party one. Both malfunctioned.

 

Now need new controller for pc gaming, please recommend (doesnt have to be wireless)

Dualshock 4's are nice, but if you have larger hands you may not like it.

I really also like the switch pro controller

I'd recommend the original Xbox One controller. I got mine in 2014 and it's still working well today without any damage.

I prefer the xbox 360 controllers if wireless then you need an adapter. Dual shock 4 is my second favorite. I have a ton of aftermarket controllers from the past, none of them really outperform first party console controllers though.

I had mine and it became temperamental within about 9 months, so i'm not sure i trust them anymore

I'm currently using a Logitech F710.  I like the PS style controllers better than the xbox style.  I've been happy with it.  Rechargeable AA last me about 2 weeks of heavy use.
