$500 build recommendations/suggestions help

Hey, so I've been tasked to help a friend of mine (who doesn't really know much about computers) build a computer for $500 AU, with a gtx 1060 6g. She was going to go down the path of buying a ps4, but I've managed to convince her to seriously consider building a desktop pc to replace her laptop that she's been using to play games for the past few years. We're definitely willing to forgo aesthetics and even buy pre-owned hardware, scrapyard wars style. Does anyone have suggestions on what we should get?

bc 500AUD isnt that much, even with 500 USD that'd be a hard fit.

Unless you already have a GTX 1060 6GB on hand, I don't really know if that'll be doable without buying second hand parts.

My postcode is 4556 QLD, and no we don't have the 1060 so I can't imagine buying many parts brand new, but that's okay.

I'd aim for a used 1060, used Ryzen 3 1200 or Ryzen 5 1600 or 6-7th gen i5 with compatible mobo, 8GB DDR4, and a CX450M PSU.  case is personal preference or anything cheap used.

Btw, the 1060 won't fit in the dell 9020sff, low profile only 1050ti max
