Planning my first build and in worried that everything might not fit.

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/NerdNinja/saved/3pbc

Ok now PcPartPicker does not show everything I'm gonna put in so first off there will be three corsair H50 CPU cooler's the reason for this is because both the R9 290's (nonX) will have NZXT G10 CPU Cooler mounts.

Now looking at the case, which is absolutely perfect for what I want and my friends call me Spock so double points there  ;), we see three 120mm fan mount but I am not sure if the H50 has long enough tubing to reach the first GPU from the top of the case.

I won't be doing a custom water cooled loop any time soon so that's not an option and I would really like this case if at all possible.

Since it is a MATX case I don't think I'll have a problem but I'm not sure.

Also if you could recommend me two case fans(a 200mm and a 80mm) that would be great! I don't know if the noctua's would work or not.

Thanks you!

Ok because of all the shit on this about my PSU I'm changing it.

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

1. Change the PSU for something better, the RM is not great.

2. Change your RAM to a 2X8GB kit so you can upgrade in the future.

3. You may want to consider changing the H50 for your CPU. There are better cooling options for the price.

Don't get that RM Psu, get a CX or something.

The RM series are better in every possible way. Why would you want to go with the bare minimum (CX) when you can get something better, quieter, modular and better with power consumption?

Why?

Does not use great components. There are better options out there.

The RM series have bad caps, you don't want that.

That's just complete bull. Please don't believe everything you read.

They have pretty bad caps. The RM series are nice and convenient, but nowhere near the best.

RM PSU is totally fine. Money doesn't seem to be the problem since you have two 290s

But:

1. Get a 3rd party cooler on those GPUs. The stock cooler is very loud. I'd recommend Gigabyte. It should be a bit quieter but mos importantly, much cooler, so you won't run into  a thermal bottleneck

2. You are gonna want to get a Motherboard with a Z87 Chipset, to fully utilize your K-series CPU (overclocking and such).

3. The case is really optional but I'd go with something more robust and elegant. But that's totally up to you.

4. The CPU cooler is decent, however it could easily be outberpormed by a good air cooler. I'd recommend steiping up to a H80i or  a good air cooler such as the Noctua NH D14, bequiet Dark Rock Pro 2 or Thermalright Silverarrow.

5. Use a different RAM kit. 2x4 GB is plenty much for gaming. If you want 16 gigs (which is totally unnecessary) then buy a 2x8 GB kit, so you could potentially step up to 32 in the future.

Edit: okay aperrantly the RM series is bad. try sth else from corsair or seasonic os sth like that.

who cares...

They have bad secondary caps. The primary cap are all good. They won't use the secondary caps. Also if something goes wrong you will still have the warranty.

That is completely false. The low end units use completely normal CapXxon caps (which people think are bad, but arent) and the higher end units are using ltec which are the better ones.

I've misunderstood, looking more. Their caps are just fine. They only use those in psu's that have a 3 year or less warranty. Sorry for misunderstanding.

People worry over these things. It has a 5 year warranty, which in 5 years, we should all be rocking a new one anyways.

Did you read the whole thing? I mentioned getting the NZXT G10 with the H50

They're relatively bad caps considering they are marketed as high end psus. Outside of that context, they're perfectly fine.

With an mATX board and case I doubt you can fit two gpu with G10 - take a look at the G10 pictures on the NZXT site. Also look at the Vulcan pictures, you will see just how little room their is to work with.

The H50 is not the greatest of cpu coolers. You might want to consider an H60i, better yet an H80i for the cpu or even an air tower.

The Vulcan comes with 3 case fans. There should not be a need to add more, especially if you somehow get the G10 to fit.

Edit: I also have doubts about fitting three radiators and fans in the case. One would have to be on the front intake and the other two on the top exhausts. It's a narrow case so there may be clearance issues over the motherboard.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Yup I have looked a lot at the dimensions and everything appears to be able to fit. The Vulcan actually only comes with two 120mm fans so I need one 92mm for the rear and I want a 200mm fan for the side so I have more direct airflow to the GPU's. And if it doesn't all fit then I'll use the stock coolers for the R9's and I'll have the G10's and coolers for a future build! It's not that much money lost. As far as the MATX MOBO goes it has plenty of PCIE slots and the G10 works in crossfire as was shown in Linus' video.

Ah yes, sorry for not specifying. I will be using Audodesk Maya and Inventor, and either Vegas pro or Adobe after effects. Haven't decided yet. For now only for you tube but I hope to make Animation my profession later on ( I'm currently 15) Content will be game play and Mine craft Animations at first but maybe some more complicated stuff in the future. Games include BF4, Minecraft, COD, Dayz etc. and I'm planning to use this system with Dell's 38" 4K monitor hence the dual GPU'S.

No offense to your age but by the time you're getting into professional work, there'll be much better hardware available. I'd spend less, get what you need for now, and save for upgrades.

Do you already have the monitor? If not, I'd recommend just getting a 1440p display for now. There just isn't a practical solution that will play 4k smoothly at decent settings atm.
