The Compatible Motherboard

Hye guys ,

I don't know anything about Mobo , i haven't builded my own computer till now.

I currently use the prebuilded HP computer.

I want to have suggestion for the best Motherboard and latest one.

i7 and RX 580 8gb , with 16gb ram will be my build for information.

whether you can use the latest motherboard depends on the generation of i7 you're using

Which memory is the best ddr4 or ddr3?

And which i7 is better if its 9700k then i7-9700k

Regarding I7-xxxx( any i7 powerfull series) , RX 580 8GB and 16 ddr3 ram.

Regarding I7-xxxx( any i7 powerfull series) , RX 580 8GB and 16 ddr3 ram.

 

DDR3 limits you to 4th gen i7s, which are only available used and quite expensive for what they offer (completely eats up the money saved by not needing DDR4). Not the way to go.

 

Also helpful to tell us your budget, and remember that "i7" is merely a name and does not equal to performance or whether you should buy it.

Thanks again for your knowledge i have a max budget of 800€ and i changed my decision from DDR3 to DDR4.

Now i need you to suggest me the rest of the material .

Thanks for letting me know the difference between ddr3 and ddr4 in terms of CPUs compatibility.

the euro is used in a lot of country so I'm not sure how much stuff you can buy with that without knowing the country. Seems about enough for a mid range CPU, RAM, graphics card, motherboard, case, power supply and fans. You can reuse the storage drives right?

 

oh and AMD's about to reveal their new CPU architecture, better wait a bit if you can. CES is literally days away.

I doubt if AMD will change anything for you, but so far Zen has given improvements over each generation so we'll see.

choose tier C or higher ranked models. Apparently brand means nothing in the world of PSUs, all of them have units that can screw you over.
