Hey hey,

when I woke up 1 hour ago, I went in my computer room and booted the computer.

I've then been to the kitchen to make myself a nice coffee but when I came back the computer wasn't running.
Not even the LEDs on the Mainboard!

So not really thinking, I pressed the power button again. Nothing happened (obviously since the board has no power or the LEDs would be shining)

Then I switched off the power supply and waited a few minutes. Switched it on again and pressed the power button of my computer (LEDs on Mainboard are still dark at this point in time) and again.. nothing.

The computer being like 2 weeks old, I was thinking it might be some damaged hardware and thought of exchanging the power supply with an old 580 Watt one that I still have here.
So I unplugged all cables but one monitor and went in the kitchen again to get another coffee.
When I came back I thought, let me give it one more try.

Plugged the power cable into the power supply again and with only 1 monitor and the power cable in, the LEDs on the board suddenly started to light up again.
Then I pressed the power button of the computer and it booted up.

But it booted /strange/ because it restarted itself 1-2 times before it actually booted into windows.

1. Do I have to worry about a hardware issue?
2. What could the issue be?
3. Is it normal that it boots up a few times on "first boot"? (Because I have been reading about the Memory test mode my Mainboard has, and that is switched to "on", on the Mainboard by default - so I kept it like that)

**edit
I completely forgot to mention that the system is running completely stock, no overclocking on the GPU / CPU

If I had to guess, you likely had a loose motherboard 24pin plugged in and re-seating it fixed it. I wouldnt worry to much unless it happens again, but I suspect it likely wont.

I indeed pressed on the 24 pin for the CPU (think that is a 24 pin right?^^) and the big one which goes from the PS to the Board but sitting on a new 2000+€ machine that I need for my work as well as for free-time (I basically can't live without it lol) I just had to ask :)
