I guess it depends who you talk to about it. For me notifications come in all the time. My Pebble (advertises 1 week battery) lasts me about 4 days, and sometimes as little as 3. I'm a bit of a heavy user in that way, but it's something I have to conisder when I'm evaluating a product.

 

The guy I ran into at the WD Fan Appreciation Event who had one was also complaining he usually didn't make it through the day with it.

 

YMMV I suppose, but I will definitely factor your experience into future comments about the product.

Would you consider installing a custom ROM on it in order to see the differences in battery life? It would be interesting to see a video on that.
