I'll follow the content creators, I don't care about the platform. That being said I wouldn't stop using YouTube even if all of the ones I sub to left it.

I want a new video sharing site without all the "rules" of youtube. 

 

Seriously, vet ranch can't show surgery footage or else they get demonetized? That's dumb.

love Vet Ranch, I find it so frustrating they can't show the footage because you can't actually see what they're doing and that sort of stuff really interests me (I'm not into veterinary or medical stuff myself, just find the whole process of how the body works interesting)

Ultimately, I'd be following the content. Rooster Teeth posts everything on their own website, and YouTube. Because I watch so many other people, I just watch their stuff on YouTube as well. But if they left the platform entirely, I wouldn't leave it myself. I'd only go to their site. However, if all of the people I follow posted on more than just YouTube, primarily on a whole different platform and not just their own websites, then yes, I would leave YouTube.

Probably not, i'd still watch them.

MotorTrend did that and created their own service, MToD, i still watch all the shows on there.

i dont watch the "biggest and most important" people, i would only leave if the people i watch up and left. though the biggest channel(s) that i watch, being the Rooster Teeth ones, I watch on their website anyway with First.

Definitely.  Youtube has gone down the tubes.  Many of my favorite content creators either don't upload anymore or just quite like Etika, AlphaOmegaSin, AVGN among many others.  I can't say I blame them theres always a new rule or new copyright rule that makes it harder to upload by the week.

Presuming it became as popular as like twitch & all my creators at least uploaded all videos to the other platform & it was safe & stable yes. There’s no reason to stay in YouTube except for bad changes.
