i7 4790k oc safe

i was wondering if its save to oc my cpu and how far should i go to see a diffence some games atm peg at 90-100% and stutter some times and would it be better to use the auto oc mode that comes with the mobo

well, what resolution are you playing at? as that could be some of the pegging issue... (i have a problem with my 9700k hitting 100% while gaming at 1080p)

I had a noctua nhd15 with that 4790k and only expect to oc like 0,2-0,4? thats not worth it. Its at 4,4 by default and I achieved 4,6 without problems but I dont think it worths

i limit the fps to 91 and that did nothing to the cpu 

 

fallout 76 stutter and drops loads of fps compared to vidz i have seen with this gpu but there both idle in that game for some reason

monitor setup? , I had problems with stuttering with 2 monitors distinct refresh rate

well, try to crank the settings up as high as you can to offload from of the load from the CPU (in Overwatch i have to go 150-200% render to load stuff to the GPU)

will try the res i have all settings at max will try the render scale

should easily get it up to 4.7....I don't stutter at all either at 4.3..those numbers right there is why...told you no joke having cores either despite lower Frequency....

nope still stutter with black ops even crancking the res up cant try fallout as there aint a slider
