Right now the 840 pro or plextor 5 pro or something like that. You want a samsung or marvell controller with some nice nand. There is also the intel dc 3500 and 3700.

The best sdd for your money I would say is the evo because of the combo of samsung controller and nand and the samsung tech like turbo write and RAPID. I also agree with @Hargreaves how much is the money and what size are you look at/for.

Depends on where you're shopping and what you're using it for.

Parts and prices change from region to region and what ssd you should get depends on your use case.
