xbox controller not working on MacBook

hi I have a MacBook Pro 2018 and was hoping ti connect my tired xbox 360 afterglow controller and it doesn't work even with the drivers please help!!

What game and what drivers? Xbox controllers don't work natively on Mac and you'll need to download specific drivers.

I recommend trying these https://github.com/360Controller/360Controller/

They are similar to the ones you have, but newer I believe.

kk thanks but now there is nothing in system pref, does hat mean the old one is gone? and the new one is fine? also how can I delete them If I don't want or like it

Try to install it again. The first time I installed mine, the menu didn't show up. The second time I tried, it did.
