Building a pc right now and need help with air cooler

Stefen, this is at least your second build. And if you're not Stefen, keep in mind that your userpic instantly makes people laugh at you and your Swiss Army knife that "hopefully" has a Phillips head on it.

 

I'm not downloading a random .mov, but do make sure you're screwing in a diagonal pattern. Top left-bottom right-top right-bottom left, and tighten a couple twists at a time to make sure there's mostly even pressure on the board.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Make sure you aren't cross threading, i've never tried this one, only the retaining clips

upload that to YT or somewhere because i aint downloading stuff from people with 14 posts, or even 100 posts tbh. Make sure you have everything lined up right and you are not cross threading first of all

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

You need to push cooler down more. It won't brake. Push it down and screw first screw in so that it says. Next do one diagonally across it, same thing just as much as needed so it stays. Now do rest. After you've gotten them all, you can tighten them. Use same pattern, start with one and go diagonally and so on. First to almost tight and then tight. Usually you can't overtighten screws by hand, but you can make sure by loosening each by 1/4th of full turn.
