Hi mates,

I need to have 5 « screens » connected to one rig.

3 4k144hz for gaming, one 2k60hz for multi purpose and an hdmi to audio receiver.

I have a 4090 who only allows me to have 3 4k144 outputs at the same time, Even if spreadsheet says 4.

Since I have a 13900kf I can’t use mobo’s output.

which gpu should I go for to have audio plus 2k output please?

can I mix nvidia and amd gpu?
I already saw the rtx 3050 6gb edition that doesn’t need 8pin power input.

I tried a gt 730 but since it’s eol it doesn’t pair correctly with the 4090.

thanks for your help

You might run into issues with their drivers not wanting to co-exist, but generally yes

Aside from maximum number of concurrent screens you have other limits, which more than 3x 4K 144 Hz likely exceed.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply

Some used GTX 1050 will do the job. GT 1030 GDDR5 with HDMI and DP is fine too.

That's why you never save 10 or 20 bucks on a CPU without an iGPU. It's the cheapest way to get an extra GPU.

Because they use different drivers.

Do you actually need 5 screens for that? It kind of seems really odd. Are you doing a Driving SIM rig and also trying to use it as a multipurpose rig? Because that almost never works well. If you arent doing a racing sim, you simply dont need 3 screens purely dedicated for gaming o.o

Other then that, you may just have to get a 4060 (since no 4050 exists) since  money doesnt seem to be an issue ;o Using a very old GPU can cause massive issues sadly on a gaming rig like that, and usually youd have to use a seperate computer with a wireless mouse +KB to get the most out of it.

Yes, I learned it the hard way. It would probably have solved my issue.
I don't need 5 screens, but 4. My audio amp connected via hdmi is seen by the computer as a screen 😞 , it's him the 5th.
I need 3 screens 4K144Hz, one hdmi audio (seen as a screen) and one screen 2K for multimedia purpose.

Spending money uselessly is not a good point ❤️ .
Maybe is there an usb audio dac with hdmi output that I'm not aware of?
