best watercooling block for a EVGA ACX 2.9 GTX 1060?

Title. Basically I am planning to either do a watercooled normal PC or a Desk PC and was wondering whether there are any universal blocks that work?

 

Also before anyone comments, yes I know watercooling a 1060 isn't the best and I should just upgrade, but honestly i'm doing it for looks, not performance.

have you looked at the EK configurator, i had a quick look and the reference 1060's can use the 1080 blocks.

Just depends on your individual SKU

Uh I believe mine is a single fan and I remember seeing something about the single fan not being reference, but knowing my vision I may have been wrong

Yup, single fan is not a reference PCB design. Also, there's no waterblocks I could find from Bitspower, Alphacool or EK. You could get some universal block to fit, but if you're only watercooling the card (pretty dumb already on a 1060) just for the looks (even dumber), that won't be a solution because you don't get the full cover look and will instead have a CPU cooler strapped on a gPU.

Alright then. Looks like I'll have to do something custom to cover the rest of the card, or do mineral oil. Thanks for the help!

Why not just sell/trade the smaller 1060 for a full sized one? Full cards look better when watercooled anyways.

Honestly never realized that was an option as mos tof the time I thought it would have costed more. Apparently not

Well you may need to add some cash to it, but if you're gonna go through the expense of watercooling something I'd get the best one possible. If you have the budget I'd look for something like a used 1070 or 980 Ti instead of buying new though (and IIRC a dude in the Classifieds section has two EK 980 Ti waterblocks for sale), and sell the 1060 to get some cash back.
