Too weak cpu cooler?

I have silentiumpc fera 3 and i might buy (my friend) core I7 8700k. I have read that this cooler can handle this cpu and little overclock, is this true? Or have i buy New cooler. Some People say it can handle and Some says it can't and the cpu is delited. i heard thinks it can help pretty much. Hopefully you can understand my bad english and thanks for helping me.

It looks like a Hyper 212 clone. It should handle a stock 8700k, but I wouldn't expect any overclocking with it.

 

If you are sticking with air coolers, get something tier 3 or higher from this list if you want to overclock:

If you want to OC your 8700k get a Macho Direct, Windale 6, H60 2018 (if you want to go AIO), or Scythe Fuma Rev.b

Can i oc with a corsair h60 cooler?

That would be much better than H60. Its double the radiator size.
