in sense does 256 bit have better graphics than 64 bit?

in what? 256 is mostly used in security, 64 mostly in programs and in various operating systems. where are we even talking about? colors?

I assume you don't mean Colour Depth because 256 bits of that would be astonishingly accurate. I don't even think you could have enough colours for it.

my friend told me 256 bit has better graphics than 64 bit, is that true or not?

i don't see in what, so I can't help you. I've never seen 256 bit used in anything except for security

Oh yeah! Of course, you see 256 bit was actually created recently in like 2017. It was developed in Finland by a guy called Franchez Arduino and his team, they found out that if you shoot lasers into the camera lens along with the subject you're trying to take a photo of, more developed images come out. That's what they mean by 256 bit, it's honestly a bit of a faff to setup and that's why you don't see it too often. However, if you can find an image taken in 256 bits, it's almost as if you are looking into the 4th dimension. 64 bits is more commonly used as it develops solid 3D colours and this satisfies most people.

tl;dr - yes! It does.

Your friend saw a bigger number and liked the bigger number.

64 bit means 64 bits. 256 bit means 256 bits. Computer screens are usually 8 or 10 but sometimes 12.

For graphics the memory bus width is measured in bits. As are the pipelines

You're cpu runs at 64 bit (maybe 32)

Bits didn't have much to do with performance.

You want to look at IPC, clock speed, memory bandwidth etc.

As for photography sure you can go higher bit depth. But try and find a normal person that can tell the difference.

64 bit -vs- 256 bit.  Imagine a highway where everyone travels at the same speed, no faster, no slower.  Everyone travels at the same speed no matter what.  Originally this highway was 64 lanes wide, no more, no less.  On that highway you have 10,000 automobiles traveling in the same direction and remember, they all travel at the same speed.

So think about how long it would take for 10,000 automobiles to travel the distance of that highway when there are only 64 lanes.  It would take quite a while for all the automobiles to pass thru.

Now, take that same highway, but instead of 64 lanes for traffic, there are 256 lanes.  You still have those same 10,000 automobiles trying to get thru on that highway.  But since the highway is now 256 lanes, and not 64 lanes, you can pass 4 times as much traffic in the same amount of time as before.  256 lanes of traffic -vs- 64 lanes of traffic is a lot faster even though everyone is still traveling at the same speed.
