Pc will not boot after installing and then removing m.2 ssd

Hello. I just bought a Corsair m.2 nvme pcie ssd. I turned off my pc installed the ssd then tried to turn it back on to see that my case fans and leds were on along with the water cooling pump. However the keyboard and mouse did not light up and the monitors don’t output anything. I took the ssd out and it did not fix it. I am currently resetting the cmos battery but does anyone have any other suggestions?
