Hey guys,

I'm thinking of buying an iPhone 8 Plus. I tested out my brother's 8 Plus today and it's a very nice phone, but I really want to stay on Android if possible.

The only thing is I can't find an Android phone that I actually like. Samsung phones are good but the batteries are crap. OnePlus phones are uncommon in the UK, plus they're out of my budget.

My budget is £300.

What phone should I buy?

Thanks :)

I love Huawei and they provide good budget options, like my Huawei mate 10 lite, but I don't fully trust Huawei, since, well, China. My phone costed $300usd

Wait wait wait, you were thinking of buying an iPhone, wanted to stay on Android and now your budget is half the price of the 8 plus you wanted? That's confusing. What carrier are you on? Some of Sony's phone are good bang for the buck but have limited bands. Check out the Xiaomi Pocophone F1. Nevermind on the pocophone, is doesn't support most of the 4g bands.

CPU - FX 8350 @ 4.5GHZ GPU - Radeon 5700  Mobo - M5A99FX Pro R2.0 RAM - Crucial Ballistix 16GB @ 1600 PSU - Corsair CX600M CPU Cooler - Hyper 212 EVO Storage - Samsung EVO 250GB, WD Blue 1TB

No, it's that my brother buys phones with cracked screens as he has a phone repair shop and he fixes them up, that's how I get them so cheap.

I like the iPhone but I would rather stay on Android, I just can't find any Android phones that match my needs and my budget.

My carrier is Vodafone UK, but I will need support for 3 and EE too since I'll be changing carrier next year and those 2 are the most likely carriers I'll switch to.

Sorry for the confusion, it's 4am here so I'm probably not phrasing my sentences very well

I'll be off for the night soon so here's a link to check compatibility of a phone with a carrier. https://www.frequencycheck.com/models
