Route Sound Through PC

So I've recently moved my Switch dock to my desk and I want to hear the games I'm playing. My monitor doesn't have speakers, and I'd rather not switch headphones all day since I often play my Switch while waiting for something in a PC game. So my question is: Is it possible to route the audio from my Switch through my PC so I can hear the Switch audio in my PC-headphones?

I'm outputting my PC audio to a Fiio Alpen 2 thorugh USB.

I do not have a dedicated soundcard, my MB is a Maximus Hero  VIII.

you can connect an aux between the switch and your pc via the blue plug on the back of your mobo and it should output to whatever your pc audio outputs to (may take software work as well)

Yeah that worked, but only if I go to Recording > Select the Line In > Enable "Listen to this Device". However, this introduces a horrible static noise. I've tried running different cables from the Switch to the port, but it didn't do anything.
