Hey, so my question is pretty straight forward. I want to resell my 120GB SSD to get some extra money for a larger one.

1. How do i need to prepare the SSD for the buyer? just format it, or is there another way.

2. I also have a 1000GB HDD, where i want to save my stuff on. how do i do that the best?

Thanks :)

try to write it over with useless big data, so you can overwrite older stuff

I doubt that people will buy used SSD because it could always be on its last legs.

This is for HDDs not SSDs doing so on a SSD will only short it's life span even furter what makes buying second hand a bad deal in the first place, it could be on its last legs already due to excessive writing to it.

Well, i had it for a year now and used it relatively much. is it even a good idea then to resell it?

Out of experience I just believe that nobody will be interested on it besides a 120gb sata 3 SSD is fairly cheap nowadays so you'd be getting back essentially not enough money to be worth even the hassle of take it to the mail post to ship it to whoever buys.... if you're going e-commerce route.
